DESCRIPTION
We will pick you up directly from your accommodation to take you on a discovery of the wines of the Etna DOC.
The goal of our tour will be Catiglione di Sicilia with its hamlets, one of the most important wine-growing areas of Sicily.
As the first stop, we will visit the Tornatore Winery. The winery boasts the largest Etna DOC vineyard in the production area. We will be guided through the winery tour and tasting of 4 wines accompanied by bread and olive oil.
Continuing on our tour, we will stop at Passopisciaro, at Irene Badalà’s Winery, a family-run business whose philosophy is that “wine is produced in the vineyard” thanks to the care that blends ancient and new knowledge.
After a walk through the rows of vines, cultivated with native varieties of Mount Etna, during which we will discover the ancient rural culture of Etna viticulture, we will enjoy a pleasant picnic where we will taste 3 wines accompanied by local traditional products.
